Da dove viene quella forza che ci spinge a raccontare, a condividere la nostra storia e a tramandarla? L’opera di Vincenzo Rabito sembra un miracolo e invece non lo è. E’ la volontà di un uomo che, spinto da una forza atavica, si arma di una macchina da scrivere e guerreggia contro una lingua che non gli appartiene.
Non posso definirmi deluso da questo ultimo lavoro, non mi azzarderei a chiamarla fatica, degli Anathema. A cinque anni di distanza da ” A natural disaster “, album che ho letteralmente divorato, la band inglese propone 9 brani rivisti in chiave acustica più un inedito.
Sarebbe più corretto intitolare questo post “bella, addio” visto che il 2008 è stato probabilmente l’ultimo anno del festival “bella ciao”. Dopo quattro anni di vita, la manifestazione artistica romana chiude i battenti. Peccato davvero.
